This kit is part of a series called "Strange Company's Space Adventures" and is part of a new series of different kits (24031, 24033, 24034, 24035, 24054), Episode I: The adventure begins with people and robots meeting for the first time, in a bar on the ALMAR peripheral space station. hey are almost immediately attacked by Government Special Forces on a secret mission aimed against Jacqueline, (one of the visitors of the bar). Having occured under fire the visitors of the bar become a team just to survive. They manage to escape the Spaceport by stealing the combat attack ship used by the Specialk Forces. They disappear into the zone known as the Underdeveloped Territories and are now hunted by the most powerful enemy in the whole Universe - the Galactic Security Service.

Description of the characters of this figure kit:
Laurie is a Common soldier of the Government "Special Forces" detachment. She is beautiful, smart and extraordinary, she is also strong and tough, but flexible in nature at the same time. This has allowed her to quickly adapt to changes in every situation that she has been involved with. She came from a poor family from an outer peripheral planet. She grew up in a very difficult conditions where survival was the best she could hope for. She volunteered for military service in the hopes to better her living conditions. She is an excellent, experienced and enterprising fighter. She is so good at waht she does, it constantly incurs the discontent of her immediate superiors, who are intimdated by her abilities. Being a female, she constantly gets attitude from her male co-workers because she is so focused on being the best she can be. Therefore, she is forced to reconcile herself and just drudge on to prove she is something worthwhile. She has proven herself an asset over and over again, but despite her high performance she has not been advanced to the sergeant as of yet. Her abilities warrant advancement and she would make an excellent Officer, but entrance to the Officer level is closed for her due to her lack of education and social status.
During the battle in the bar on the space station Almar, Lightning Bolt and Ty managed to pursue the renegades and get aboard the stolen shuttle/ship. They are now faced with a difficult decision. Join the "Strange Company" and take their chances, or remain loyal to the Galactic Union (and continue to be held back in their careers with the Galactic Union Special Forces)? Currently they are alone and outnumbered on a ship heading into deep space (that will be soon hunted by every resource the Galactic Union can muster). They have decided to join the "Strange Company", a decision that will completely change their lives and destiny. They are now parted of the most wanted/hunted group in all of space.
